The honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, will inaugurate/lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of stations and ROB-RUB projects under the Amrit Station Plan in the Agra Mandal on February 26, 2024. Indian Railways is committed to enhancing the foundational structure of railways in Uttar Pradesh, with over 5,811 projects progressing in the state, totaling ₹1,91,813 crores. In the current budget, a record allocation of ₹19,575 crores has been made for Uttar Pradesh, with plans to develop 157 stations as world-class railway stations. On February 26, 2024, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for 554 Amrit stations and inaugurate/lay the foundation stone for 1,500 ROB/RUB, including 7 Amrit stations in the Agra Mandal—Eidgah, Raja Ki Mandi, Dhaulpur, Kherli, Deeg, Govindgarh, and Hodal. This initiative identifies 1,309 stations for the advancement/modernization of Indian Railways.
