20-year-old Dilip, a resident of Mohalla Khara, Sateek Police Station, Etah district, had been missing since June 5. His family had filed a missing person report at Sateek Police Station. However, even after a month, there was no trace of him. When the police tracked Dilip's location, his last known location was in Agra. Following this lead, the police began their investigation. It was revealed during the investigation that Dilip had a friendship with a girl who lived in his neighborhood. The girl had gotten married a year ago to a man from Akbarpura village in Tajganj. Despite her marriage, Dilip continued to talk to her on the phone, and her husband found out about it. The girl's husband, along with his friends, planned Dilip's murder and called him to Agra.

The investigation revealed that the girl's husband, along with his friends, killed Dilip and buried his body. Etah police arrested the girl's husband and interrogated him rigorously. On Sunday night, the police arrived in Agra and recovered a skeleton from a location identified by the husband. However, to confirm that the skeleton belongs to Dilip, a DNA test will be conducted.

At 1 AM, Etah police arrived in Agra. They, along with Tajganj police, detained the young woman and her husband for questioning. The husband, Govinda, confessed to the police that Dilip used to call his wife. He called Dilip to Agra on June 5. That night, he and his friends murdered Dilip and buried his body.
