In the Braj region, including Agra and Mathura, the celebration of Janmashtami is in full swing. Agra, a major tourist destination, is witnessing a surge in visitors. Even five-star hotels in Agra are participating in the festivities, introducing domestic and international guests to Braj's culture and cuisine.
ITC Mughal Hotel has organized a food festival titled 'Braj Ka Khana' for Janmashtami. According to the hotel's General Manager Sameer Jilani and Sales Manager Jyoti Chitkara, a special buffet has been arranged to familiarize international guests with Indian culture and festivals.
The hotel's aim is for guests to remember and take away the essence of Braj's culture and flavors. The Executive Chef and his team have prepared a special menu for the food festival, featuring dishes such as sabudana khichdi, kuttu flour delicacies, and sweets like panjeeri.
